Avijeet is Director at CAF India. He joined the organisation in the year 2009.He is a graduate in Sociology from Delhi University (Rank 2nd) and was a National Scholar in the Department of Sociology , Delhi School of Economics and went on to do an M. Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also did a Certificate Course in Designing and implementation of Social Programmes at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Has more than 14 years of work experience in the development sector and in teaching and research. He worked with Help Age India as Director in Programs for more than eight years before joining CAF India.
